Re: Finished new backup site

suggestion?

Put the compendium at the bottom of the page, or at least give it a *spoilers within* warning for those who haven't finished up to the current chapter.

Of course, since they're on your site, they had to go through this forum, so its probably a moot point.

Re: sub9 released

*Engineering Geek Mode ON* Ok, so I'm going to try to stay as non technical as possible for all of our sakes, but here's recoil as I seem to remember it from my phisics classes. Every object has a property called momentum, which is mass*velocity (mass times velocity).  In any collision or reaction, ...

Re: sub9 released

I dont know about a larger version of the railgun.  Its a really cool weapon, that fires rounds really fast (14,000ish MPH), but you've gotta remember that it fires normal matter. Really effective against lightly armored units (i.e. infantry), not so effective against shields.  Fel has mentioned sev...

Re: Good Books (Scifi)

Here's another vote for Ender's game. Instead of listing individual books, I'll give some of my favorite Sci-Fi Authors.  Most have several books which can be found in any public library. Orson Scott Card:  Ender's Game series, Enchantment, Pastwatch, and others. Isaac Asimov:  Robot, Empire, and Fo...

Re: Anyone know a Martial Art?

Yea, my teacher tells a story where he had his daughter on one of those baby carriers on his back, and was walking his dog over the winter.  There was a patch of ice on the sidewalk, and just as he stepped on it, the dog went  bounding off after something.  Fortunately, when he fell, he was able to ...

Anyone know a Martial Art?

Ok, so I'm going to use the lull in conversation to start a new topic. Does anyone know any martial arts? Care to share experiences? I'm mostly asking this cause I just started learning Ju-Jisu. Which is making me quite sore these days (who would have guessed that falling hurts?), so its on my mind....

Re: Error List

So as long as we're keeping this error list, i think it would help future editing if the specific place the error is were reported. For instance, if Sarraya's husband is mentioned 3 times, how bout reporting the books and chapters in which those mentionings occured.  OR if you dont remember, post it...

Instead of "in the manner of the cat" substitute "in the selani hand code" and it works perfectly.

Re: Darn, wouldn't you know, ANOTHER non-sword chapter

Fel, you're awsome man!

Now that said, why do you do this to me?
I've procrastinated all night and now have three choices:
1) do homework
2) read
3) sleep

I should do 1, but will probably do 2+3 and then be frantic tomorrow.

Fel, you just made my day.

The next...15 minutes or so are going to be the best part of today, and then the next 30 or so are going to be the best part of tomorrow.

Chicken soup man, chicken soup does wonders when your sick.

I considered making some kind of allusion to how the new chapter was chicken soup for my reading addiction, and you need real chicken soup....but it just turned out bad.  So i wont.

Re: About the Firestaff

Grey,
I think that if Fel wanted to include some esoteric information that didnt fit in anywhere else, he could do it in a Prologue.  I think thats where we found out about the Blood War.

And since there's only one left, it makes me anticipate the next chapters (and the next book) even more.
