personally i had good experience with msi motherboards. so i cannot say why to avoid them.
and about an psu. optimal loading on psu is around 80% so this psu was chosen for this configurations power requirements .
cases i cannot say as mid level cases differ buy area so that's personal experience.

i had to make this consideration about half an year ago when my phone died.
what i actually got is an mid/low grade android phone for phone functions an mobile hotspot.
and an nexus 7 (1st version) for my computing needs
all most all the functions of an high end android smartphone in 60% of the price
