Ok... new to the forums so hello everyone, just wondering if anyone could help me find a story I really liked but lost due to my old computer frying.
It started out as Guy finds girl-demon in car...they are chased...guy goes to alternate dimension...guy turns into a demon..sort of...was a very long story but this is pretty much the beginning. Any and all help would be welcome...(has been bothering me for a while now).

I have a lost story that I want to find.

There was a story that I read on storiesonline.net that was set in the Battletech universe. Its about a guy who starts out as a mechanic and supply truck driver who works his way up to being an ace mercenary mech pilot and a scout spotter for the heavy artillery of his mercenary army. Eventually he becomes the general or something of his own mercenary unit. Help me find this one please. Thanks.

hows it going guys ive read a book years ago about a scientist who invented a "time machine" that spined super heavy matter to create a travel into the past effect. well he didnt actully travel into the past he traveled into a alternate deminsion where magic was real. And in this new place aluminum was the most rarest and most valuable material on the planet and only the wizards/..... cant think of the word."people that tryed to change copper into gold" knew how to make. and then the scientist created soap and made many different inventions in this low tech place. I cant remmber anying important about this book that would help me locate it. its kinda old so i send my last hopes out to yall to remmber or know of the one book in my life that got away. thank you all very much and long live firestaff.

P.S. dont ever stop writeing or you wont be my favorite auther anymore.

Don't know the book, but the word you're thinking of is alchemist.

The books you might be thinking of are the McGill Feighan Series by Kevin O'Donnell Jr. Caverns, Reefs, Lava & Cliffs are the only ones I've seen in print.

He is a Flinger, who can move 900 kilograms of matter at a time. Very good reads, IMHO.

I do believe you are right! and with that last answer, we can now proudly say that every book lost and asked for in this thread had been found!

It's sad how there are no websites on the net that thoroughly classify books
and facilitate this kind of exercice though... allscifi and scifan make an effort but they are far from up to date yet.

hey guys i am looking for a erotic book that i think is either on storiesonline or asstr. the plot of the story was that aleins introduce a virus onto earth to kill off people to clean the earth or something like that. anyways one guy that survived i think hes name is jake or something like that ended up getting a hrem and they lived in texas. thats all i can really remember so if you guys can held me i would appreciate it
