It all depends on where you buy your maps. Check out the link for a selection.arargh wrote:Dallas, Texas, USA is "down under"?Phantom wrote: Well you know how time is all screwed up down under...![]()

You are too conventional and set in your ways.arargh wrote:Cute.Mad Monk wrote: It all depends on where you buy your maps. Check out the link for a selection.

I would find one of those maps almost completely unusable.
I am way too used to north at the top.
Yup. Not likely to change, either.Mad Monk wrote: You are too conventional and set in your ways.
Given the variety of ways mankind has used for maps, I wonder what the Faey would use?arargh wrote:Yup. Not likely to change, either.Mad Monk wrote: You are too conventional and set in your ways.

Space is three dimensional, so you would need an interesting design, possibly using vectors.
Projecting a spherical planet onto a flat sheet has different problems - the Mercantor projection is the most common, but others are also used -

VM host ran out of disk space, which resulted in the hypervisor pausing the VM.gnume wrote:the site was down till just around now.

Oh that is always my worst nightmare. Make sure that the Hosting company isn't keeping snapshots longer than 24 hrs. The delta file aspect on the VM hypervisors out there don't like long running snapshots. The files grow exponentially. I'd also ask them if you are in a shared datastore for your VM/VMs versus a Datastore of your own.Spec8472 wrote:VM host ran out of disk space, which resulted in the hypervisor pausing the VM.gnume wrote:the site was down till just around now.
