Due to more free time than expected, I expect to have chapter 17 done in the next couple of days. It's running a little long, and since this is a somewhat extensive sidestory/plot advancement away from the main war plot, it was a little easier to write.

Yes, there's a little direct action at the beginning of the chapter, but Kyven isn't there to watch the battle at Durm in its entirety. When he's forced to retreat, that's it. What happens in the battle you'll find out in chapter 18.
